New page[edit]

We still need an index of all scenarios, and I'm not sure the template is that great, but at least we have the information and it can be reached from the search function. 19:00, 21 April 2017 (CEST)

There are 5 scenarios with Natural Disasters. I added the remaining three with the basic win/lose conditions. More detail needs to be added. - Fox_NS_CAN 2017-04-21-2148 ADT
There is supposed to be scenarios with "Mass Transit" as well I believe. Will there be one page for all CO scenarios? Or one for ND and one for MT? - Fox_NS_CAN 2017-04-22-0329 ADT
My current plan is to let the page grow as needed, this page is for official scenarios and unless CO make 500 I doubt we'll run into trouble. If its gets too long then we can split it. One solution would be to make the sections smaller using a more elegant win/loss section. Dauth (talk) 09:27, 22 April 2017 (CEST)
Fine for me. I created separate pages just in case and because I like sets of small pages but I have no strong opinion ;). I was also thinking of maybe including screenshots of the map to indicate which disaster strikes where. Any opinion? The4thLaw (talk) 20:03, 22 April 2017 (CEST)
My thinking is as follows: with many small pages, it splinters the information and makes updating a bit more work since its easier to miss one. This way the entire set are in one place. It also makes it easier for people to browse the wikis to find a scenario they'd like to play. Dauth (talk) 10:24, 23 April 2017 (CEST)

I added the events for all Natural Disasters scenarios. Any other details you would expect before we remove the "expand" template? The4thLaw (talk) 16:56, 23 April 2017 (CEST)

Nope, all good now, I may make a few changes to the layout but the content is done. Thanks for the good work. Dauth (talk) 18:44, 23 April 2017 (CEST)

I agree that the "OR" seemed to make the list too big and not very good looking, but some conditions are "AND", and some are "OR", and that is an important distinction. Perhaps adding "(OR)" to the end of each line instead of between the lines would be better. Fox NS CAN (talk) 17:21, 24 April 2017 (CEST)

I added icons to differentiate which DLC was required for each scenario, and added the "Mass Transit" scenarios. I tried using the {{icon|mat}} and {{icon|nad}} but they seemed a bit small, so went with file: and 40px instead (native size of image). If that seems too big, could revert to the icon|xxx versions instead. - Fox NS CAN (talk) 16:09, 27 May 2017 (CEST)

The default value for the icons is 28px. To change the value in the template add a size parameter such as {{icon|mat|40px}}. Aside from this, icons in headers can be a bit of an issue so its best to avoid them. ~ SolSys (talk) 18:24, 27 May 2017 (CEST)

ND / MT interspersed[edit]

Should I have gone with all ND scenarios first, then all MT scenarios next? Instead of mixing the two together alphabetically by title? - Fox NS CAN (talk) 16:09, 27 May 2017 (CEST)

I've made the change so they all appear under the same expansion [ expansion tags added]. ~ SolSys (talk) 18:24, 27 May 2017 (CEST)
That is better I think, and the Table of Contents is no longer "out of control". The only thing is that the individual scenario titles don't really stand out any more. Blends in with everything else as you scroll through. - Fox NS CAN (talk) 02:07, 28 May 2017 (CEST)
