DLC icons[edit]

Hi, seeing as you can get the in-game icons I was wondering if you could also upload the DLC indicators/icons. Alternatively, if you can explain to me how to extract them from the game files [unity :/] I can give it a go myself. You can reach me through my userpage [talk page or forum PM]. Thanks. ~ SolSys (talk) 15:36, 24 May 2017 (CEST)

Extract them? I wish. Sadly it is all manual work. I do a screenshot (with Print Screen, the Steam screenshots lack quality due to JPG compression) and paste it into GIMP, and then manually "cut out" each graphic by hand. Probably not the best way, but it is the only way I know how. Anything with a lot of transparent sections (roller coaster in the Magicka Theme Park for Cities Skylines, the new multi-platform train stations roof, crane wires on the cargo hub, the fire watch tower, uggh!) are all a nightmare to do, as the dark background bleeds into the structure depicted in the icon, and is challenging to do a good job of. I have managed a fair bit of stuff for Mass Transit, but have also been playing a bit. I'm not sure what icons you mean. The ones on the main menu screen showing what DLC you have or can get in the store? I did do screen captures of them, but have not cut them out yet. I don't own Rock City, and it has green "money" over the icon, but I could do the rest without too much trouble. Or do you mean in the maps/scenario thing where there are icons? Not really familiar with this "user talk" page, if you don't see this, I will try the forum. - Fox NS CAN (talk) 22:22, 24 May 2017 (CEST)

Half-op status[edit]

Good evening,

Given the volume and quality of your contributions to the Skylines Wiki, I and the rest of the moderation team were wondering if you would like to join the moderation team as a half-op.

This would bring you into our moderator chat where much of the overall direction of the Paradox Wikis is decided, and give you access to some tools to deal with vandalism and the like.

If you're interested, we would be happy to have you on the team. If the answer is yes, please tell me what email address I should send an invite to the moderator chat to. You can use "email this user" on my user page to avoid having to put it in public anywhere. If you'd be happy to use the same email as the one you use for your PDX Account, I can find that in our database without the need for you to send me an email. ~ Meneth (talk) 20:19, 2 September 2017 (CEST)

I did "email this user". Not sure if you didn't get it, or just have not had time to reply, so I thought I would leave a note here as well. I will give it a try. - Fox NS CAN (talk) 14:39, 4 September 2017 (CEST)
Weird that it didn't work. Anyway, great to hear you're accepting. Do you want me to send the chat invite to the email associated with your wiki account?
You now have the half-op status itself on the wikis. ~ Meneth (talk) 14:42, 4 September 2017 (CEST)
That was fast. Sure, that email should be fine. I'm not 100% sure what all this entails, but interested in giving it a try. - Fox NS CAN (talk) 14:48, 4 September 2017 (CEST)
Invite sent! ~ Meneth (talk) 14:49, 4 September 2017 (CEST)

Campus Area[edit]

Hi. I just realized I edited the Campus Area page without checking whether someone else was in the process of working on it. Obviously you were just doing that. So I am sorry if I meddled in your work. It was just that I saw the values missing and spontaneously decided to add them. Next time I will check beforehand. ;) --TiePoe (talk) 11:40, 17 July 2019 (UTC)

PS As I have used this wiki lots of times when playing CS, thank you for your work!

Well, at the time I had stopped for several hours. - Fox NS CAN (talk) 18:48, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
